About UXTV 2008

There is not an international academic conference on the topics of designing user experiences for TV, iTV and Internet TV. Researchers have published their work in a variety of large conferences where their results often do not find the appropriate audience. The most relevant conference series is EuroITV, which is excellent, but has not ventured beyond Europe. There is not an equivalent conference series based elsewhere in the world.

The uxTV 2008 conference aims to be the first international conference on designing user experiences for TV, iTV and Internet TV. The first location of this not-for-profit conference, in the Silicon Valley of California, is ideal as there are many local companies here creating new TV technologies. If you could dream of your ideal conference with the most interesting speakers on the most relevant topics, this would be it. If you are working or are interested in this discipline please join us by attending and submitting your work to uxTV 2008, the first international conference on designing interactive user experience for TV and video.
